With your support, we have helped a young family of new immigrants start their life together.
Carmel and Yakov had no one to turn to: the bride is an orphan, and the groom is a ger (convert). The couple has no relatives to assist with wedding expenses, their first rent in the country, or setting up a household. Their modest savings were barely enough for basic survival, making the start of their married life uncertain.
What was achieved: We have covered the critical wedding costs and paid the rent for their apartment for the initial period. Now Carmel and Yakov can build their home in Israel with confidence and dignity, without starting their journey together in debt.
For these young people who have chosen the path of Torah and tradition, your help served as real proof that they are not alone.
Thank you to everyone who responded. With your help, Israel has gained one more strong family.
